Staff Comings And Goings

Sally Hernandez‘s connection to Monarch started when she was volunteering at the Napa Police Department, where her son, Bill, is the city’s Domestic Violence Detective. Bill played a key role in the creation of Monarch, and when he moved to our office full-time in 2019, Sally followed. Sally – in a volunteer capacity – took on the roles of Executive Assistant, Receptionist, and Office Manager!

Sally was often the first to arrive and the last to leave every day. She nurtured our staff and clients with her famous cakes and chilies; she added to the welcoming atmosphere with lots of plants; and she kept the fridge stocked with kid-friendly snacks.

“She is one of the hardest working individuals I’ve met,” shared Shea Hunter, former MJC Executive Director. “She had a hug for every single person.” We will miss your loving presence, Sally! Thank you for all you’ve done for Monarch!

Napa Valley born and raised, Lisa Andrews began her career in banking at The Vintage Bank while attending Napa Valley College. At Vintage, she moved to the Human Resources department where she found her passion for administrative work.

Fast forward a few years, Lisa joined Benchmark Wine Group as their Office Manager. Over the next 11 years, she wore many hats such as Office Manager, HR, IT, Website Development, and Party Planner Extraordinaire.

Lisa spends her free time on weekend trips with family and friends, and is always planning for her next adventure. She is an avid animal lover and has one cranky 15-year-old cat.
