Task Forces: Collaborations to Improve Community Health & Safety

Monarch hosts several community-based task forces that address domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse and human trafficking.
Representatives from law enforcement, probation, the DA, health centers, nonprofit organizations, and other community partners come together to collaborate on systemic solutions that can decrease crime in Napa County, and provide survivor-centered, coordinated support for victims and their families.
These task forces allow those working in separate sectors to review shared protocols and collaborate on response efforts.
Members learn what is working, what can be improved, brainstorm new solutions, and build cohesiveness among the services they offer.
There is no limit to what we can do when we work together! Some outcomes have from our task forces have included:
- uniformed training across agencies
- sharing protocols to better understand each other’s systems
- sharing best practices for trauma-informed responses
